Alejandro Del-Pozo is the turf and ornamental entomologist at Virginia Tech, located at the Hampton Roads Agricultural Research and Extension Center
He still continues to support the research on the diamondback moth, and is currently working on:
1)Trapping and monitoring efforts, including remote pest monitoring
2)The feasibility and performance of using solid dispensers for mating disruption
3)Augmentative biological control, by releasing beneficial insects using drone technology
