Alton “Stormy” Sparks is an Extension Entomologist with the University of Georgia Extension. Dr. Sparks is located in Tifton, Georgia and serves the commercial vegetable industry throughout Georgia.
His diamondback moth research and educational efforts currently focuses on:
1)assessing susceptibility of field populations to key insecticides using a maximum dose bioassay,
2)evaluating efficacy of new insecticides and technology for management of diamondback moth,
