Daniel K. Hasegawa is a Research Entomologist at USDA-ARS in Salinas, California.

Research interests are focused on developing solutions for managing insect pests and vector-transmitted viruses affecting vegetable and fruit crops.

Current diamondback moth research projects:

1)Population monitoring in the Salinas Valley of California.

2)RNA interference technologies for managing diamondback moth.
